Welcome to the NM Society for Hazardous Materials Managers

The New Mexico Society of Hazardous Materials Managers (NMSHMM) was formed in 1998 as the marriage of two parent organizations, the former New Mexico Hazardous Waste Management Society (NMHWMS) and the Roadrunner Chapter of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP - formerly the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers).

News & Upcoming Events:

December 7, 6:00-8:00 pm,  NM-ASSE & NMSHMM Joint Winter Holiday Gathering 2011 at Chama River Brewing Company, Albuquerque.
Once again, we will gather with our friends from the NM American Society of Safety Engineers for food and fun! Bring your spouse/friend/partner and join us as we enjoy delicious appetizers from the well-renowned chef at Chama River Brewing Company. Beverages are available for purchase, including award-winning, hand crafted ales and lagers brewed on site!

We will also collect donations (checks or non-perishable foods) for the Roadrunner Food Bank! We suggest bringing a case or large quantity of food to help our local people in need. Of course, the check allows the food bank to help the most people in the best way possible.

We hope to see you there! Please RSVP (for headcount) to Terri Wallis at 505-262-0830 or
