CHMM National Overview Course Description:
This 3-day course offers a comprehensive review of environmental laws and regulations as well as a basic review of safety and health principles that you need as a hazardous materials manager. This course provides an excellent opportunity to review the three general categories that are covered on the CHMM Exam:
- Science and Technology
- Regulations and Compliance
- Management Issues
It provides an overview of major topics and issues involving hazardous materials management, and is an excellent way to prepare for the CHMM Exam. Many environmental professionals take the CHMM National Overview Course (NOC) to satisfy training requirements, enhance competence in the profession, and obtain information regarding new rules and regulations. The NOC is now accepted by the DOE National Environmental Training Office (NETO) and is listed in the NETO training catalog as a high quality training course.
A copy of the ACHMM Desk Reference of Hazardous Materials Management is included in the cost of the course. After enrolling in the course, a confirmation letter and your copy of the Desk Reference will be mailed to you. In addition, a course manual will be provided on the first day of class.
Course instructors are practicing environmental professionals who have been selected from business, industry, academia, and government agencies.
