Exam Preparation: The EHMM course is an excellent way to prepare for the CHMM and CHMP exams. Visit the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) website for more information: www.ihmm.org. This is an economical and effective way for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) professionals to strengthen their professional knowledge and credentials.
Instructors: Course offers ~18 instructors and local experts for each of the rubric areas. Instructors are selected based on subject matter expertise and excellent feedback from previous students.
Reference Materials: A hard copy of the EHMM Course presentation slides is included in the cost of the full course. Discounted copies of the AHMP Hazardous Materials Desk Reference, 3rd Edition (electronic or print) can be purchased from AHMP directly. Lunch and Refreshments: Snacks, refreshments, and coffee will be provided. Lunch will be provided Monday, October 7, 2019 only. Lunch will be on your own the remainder of the course (list of local restaurants will be provided).

This 4-day course offers a complete review of environmental laws and regulations, as well as a basic review of safety and health principles. This is a quick and economical way to master the basics in environmental, health, and safety. The course uses the AHMP training materials.

The CHMM and CHMP exams are offered by the IHMM through about 200 testing centers in the United States. For more information about how to apply for the CHMM or CHMP credential and register for the exam, including registration and exam fees, visit the IHMM website at www.ihmm.org. Back by popular demand, IHMM/NMSHMM will offer an optional proctored CHMM/CHMP exam on site Friday, October 11, 2019. Students must be accepted by IHMM to sit for the exam by no later than October 1, 2019 to elect to participate. Students must notify NMSHMM of their intent to sit for the optional IHMM proctored exam.
